You should have a ground strap on your tractor to dispel any static electricity as just a little spark in a gas tank can make a big noise. Another thing in the owners manual it tell you to turn engine off when fueling maybe they were watching to see how far you would fly. A tractor that has been restored any color attracts a lot of stares and waves as it is being driven to town or just for a ride. I have a rusty old 42 H that 2 years ago at a show attracted more attention than the shiney RED GREEN YELLOW or ORANGE ones and it was parked away from the crowd waiting to show people what it could pull, by the way that nite it beat a couple shiney ones both RED and GREEN. Maybe more people related to it.
