BTD, the following is taken from the blue ribbon service manual 1. Remove the clutch shaft 2. Remove two dowel pins and 6 cap screws to remove the belt pulley assembly 3. On an H the steering post and fuel tank support bracket need be unfastened and supported up off of the decking 4. Remove the seat assembly 6. The rear deckcover has 15 cap screws and three dowel pins 7. The brake housings must be removed by undoing 4 3\8" cap screws 8. The rear frame cover may now be removed complete with the gear shifter mechanism That is the info given...hope it helps...good luck from Mike in Exeter Ontario
