H Transmission cover removal

Well, I thought that it would be easy. I took out all the bolts I cound find that looked like the hold the transmission cover on. A few bolts had to be beheaded. Anyway, i still can't get the cover off. i put a farm jack under the cover lip in the rear to give a little lift, the cover just comes up a crack and then the whole tractor begins to lift. Is there something i'm missing or it the cover just being stubborn? Thanks!
