You have a very good memory. Yes my tractor does have a highway mower. The up is diffinately faster than the down. My concern is way the tractor labors so much in the down and why after running for five minutes the oil running from pump through the lines gets very hot. I have cleaned the filter screens several times and seem to continually pick up lots of dirt. When I put new o-rings in the unit, the old rings were mostly gone, hard and breaking up. I am thinking that some old o-ring piece stuck someplace. Right now I am going to totally disassemble and clean every passage. That is the only thing I can think of for now.
