Bob, I got a chance to pull off the timing cover this afternoon. Man that pulley was really on there. Had to use several pullers to get it off there (didn't have the right size). I would send you pictures but they would look just like yours! When I took the cover off, the cam nut was just hanging on by a few threads. There is a big chunk of the cam taper missing and the crank gear is slightly damaged. I think that I am going to replace the two gears and the cam. I plan on using the tractor to do some heavy work and I don't want to do this again. Did you have to get your parts at the dealer or through an automotive store? I had NAPA look for the gears several weeks ago ( I had a feeling that I would be needing them) and the guy behind the counter couldn't find them. He was not the guy I usually deal with and I don't think he knew where to look. Again thanks for the help!
