The marks might be stamped really lightly,but they should be there. My H had the crank gear and cam gear stamped ok but the marks were just barely visable on the cam gear, idler gear and the mag drive gear. I missed them untill I looked really hard to find them, even then I wasn't sure they were right but all the marks lined up in a row and it runs fine.
Just take a real close look, use a magnifying glass if you have to.
