2+2 Info?

I hope no-one get's their nose out of joint by my asking questions about a tractor that's only twenty-odd years old, but here's asking. My '79 3588 has been one of the best tractors I could wish for. It has factory 3pt. hitch, 2 shaft pto & factory 38" duals all round. It may not be a fire breather, but that thing will just about walk on water. I've even heard of one with a loader on that long snout. How many were built and through what years? Did any make it overseas? Were there any special application models? They looked years ahead of their time but seem to have become oddballs now and very cheap to buy. Any info or experiences would be of interest. Kindest regards, Herb.
