We had a 3788 a few years ago, and what a lugging tracor it was. Ours had 20.8 38's on it, and like yourself, I liked it. However, one spring I went out to break the first furrow with the plow in alfalfa, half way across the field, it caught fire in the turbo area. We lost the tractor, as it went up in flames with the two tank setup for fuel. No one was hurt, but I kinda miss the old girl. I never used the term "odd" I called it "unique" My kids called it Longnose!!
