Your gonna get as many different opinions on this as there are tractors. :) My .02 is synthetics are superior to dino oil for a whole lot of reasons. BTW that water condensation issue given by the oil companies is also used when talking about dino oils. Most wrenches will advise to change dino oil when putting machines up for extended periods to avoid the water condensation/acids in used oil from causing problems in the engine. Some new car manufacturers are using synthetics straight from the factory. I still like to get at least a 1000 miles on my cars and bikes with dino oil before switching to synthetic to allow rings and parts in new engine to 'seat'. Others will disagree..but I still think the synthetics are better. I use amsoil.
