How big of a generator will a C pull?

Hi folks,
Just wondering if any of you would know how big a generator I could run with my C. All I need it for is to run a pasture well pump. I would however like to be able to use it in emergency use to run the house and barn outlets, when the highline goes down.
I don't know much about generators. I would think a 25KW gen would run everything in an emergency. I would put a 856 on it for that. I need to know if a C would pull a 25KW with a light load of a 110 well pump.

If it would then I need to fix my C up a little. Install a timer to shut it off after a while when the tanks are full. Any thoughts?
