I'm 57 and I started driving my Dad's 39 F20 when I was about 8 or 9. I bought my own 51 H when I was 15. Not much farming land available when I graduated so sold it and moved to town. Now, still living in town, I felt the need to save some of this old iron and also I needed a hobby. Last fall, I bought a '46 H and over Christmas I bought a '49 H. The 46 is in the process of being restored. As soon as that one is done, the '49 gets it's turn. Guess it never gets out of your blood. They're fun to work on as well as running around the countryside hunting parts. I just hope some of the grandkids enjoy this as much as I do when they get a little older. The best part of all this is that my wife gets off on the hobby too. In fact, she is the one who found the second tractor for me. Lucky, huh?
