Reading the replies to my "Young Fellers Unite" post got me thinking. There are many reasons people fool with old tractors. Personally, I like the historical aspect, as well as having an amazement for mechanical objects. I know a lot of older folks who first drove Dad's Farmall at about 10 years old, and every time they fire the ol' M up they feel 10 again. So, older guys, fess up. How old are you, what got you into old iron, and how long have you been fooling with them? BTW, As a younger feller I appreciate the advice and guidance of you more experienced people on the board. The Fordson F Ignition System - by Anthony West. A fellow restorer contacted me earlier this year asking for some help and advice on a model F that he was restoring. He had over a period of months spent a fair amount of his hard earned cash on replacement parts for the old "trembler" ignition. If i said that this was a little frustrating for him that would be "conservative" in fact the problem had reduce
