I am a salesman at a Case industrial/Kubota dealer in Upstate, NY. Today I had the bldg&grounds director of our local psych center in my office to get a quote on some equipment, and he related the following story: The institution he works for is on property that was a working farm until the late 50's, when it was partially donated to and partially bought by the state...anyway, along with the property came a 350U and an M with a snow plow. Both were maintained untill the 350 ring gear went bad 4 or 5 years ago, and the M radiator went bad last year. Recently the decision was made to dispose of them as scrap. Apparently they advertised this in some sort of trade journal and took bids to make it legal. Well, both went to a scrap metal dealer somewhere in Pa. for a grand total of $100 for the pair! I'm still crying! Pete
