I will be 68 years old in June. I started my tractoring experience when I was ll on a 16 horse Russell Steam Engine. We used it to power my dad's sawmill. When I was 13 I was the fireman on the steam engine. When I was 16 Dad replaced the steam engine with a D John Deere, I think it was a 1934. When he bought the John Deere he told me I would be the tractor man. In 1954 I went into the USAF. I was trained as an aircraft mechanic and worked on airplanes for 15 years. I enjoy working on tractors and my favorite is the H. I own 2 H's now and I am always looking for more. Many people can't understand why I need two tractors and do not own a farm. I tell them it's just a tractor thing and they would have to be a tractor person to understand. Ed
