I have a Farmall A. I had a problem with my governor when I adjusted it to spec. Someone here suggested the governor may be worn so adjust it at one of the extremes for the linkage. I cannot remember which way right now. When I did adjust the linkage to the extreme my governor problems disappeared. Just a thought.
