I tried more packing, started leaking, then replaced the packing and skived it correcty so it would crush evenly, and it started leaking again in a few weeks,Used new packing and some old steam valve packing I had sitting around. After I got the O ring for 20 cents or so, It hasn't leaked a drop in over a year. I would spend the .20 cents instead of $30. I use my 10-20 and F-12 twice a week in the winter, and more in the summer. I may turn off the fuel as many as 8 times a day.
