Steven, my brother in law put live hydraulics on his W-4. He mounted the pump in front of the tractor and drove it from the crank He had to get an adapter shaft built, I think it drives from the hand crank slots, so he must have altered them so they don't have the ramp anymore. It works quite well, he mounted a loader built for a Ford 8N on it (he had to widen it a bit). Here's a picture of the completed tractor. Unfortunately it doesn't show the pump.
