I have a 1950 model Farmall Super A. I had the carb flood a few times on me when I first got it.In my manual it says excessive use of choke will flood the engine. I have seen several posts here about this problem.In the manual it says to pull the choke all the way out and advance the throttle lever 1/3.I always push choke rod in right away after motor starts. It will run a little rough at first but will smooth out in a minute. I haven't had it flood since.These chokes on Super A's seem to be very touchy.It seems you only need to pull choke once any more and it will flood.
