Your right Bob - M was supposed to run 16 mph at1450 RPM. so 35 mph would be 3172 rpm according to My calculator... 5th was a direct drive in all those Letter series Farmalls, (H,SH,M,SM,SMTA etc.) so to increase speed without over-reving the engine would require a change to the ring gear/pinion or the bull gears. I agree with others with the rear tread set at the narrow 48 to 50" width like that 16 mph would be fast enough for Me.... The Seller has the IQ of a toad or a Death Wish.... Decent looking M but not worth the $1900 He wants
