574 IH HYRAULIC FILL LOCATION

I WANT USE MY SHAVER POST DRIVER ON MY 574 DIESEL. THE RETURN HOSE GOES INTO THE HYDRAULIC FILL HOLE. IS THE FILL HOLE THE BIG PLUG ON THE TOP OF THE HOUSING BEHIND THE SEAT?
ALSO, DOES ANYONE ELSE HAVE TROUBLE BUMPING THE HYRDAULIC REMOTE LEVER WITH THEIR FOOT WHEN THEY GET ON OR OFF THE TRACTOR? I JUST BOUGHT THIS TRACTOR AND SO FAR THAT IS MY ONLY COMPLAINT.I WAS THINKING OF FABRICATING A SHIELD SO MY FOOT WOULD NOT HIT THE REMOTE LEVER.ANY IDEAS?
