Last spring I lost power steering, ta and brakes on my 706 after setting all winter. I took my air cpmpressor hose and put it into the transmisson filler neck. I stuffed a rag around the hose to seal the air off somewhat. The tractor was running. I turned the air on to pressurize the transmisson case. As I held the hose and rag with one hand I turned the steering wheel with the other. BINGO ...... brought the pressure right up! Has worked ever since. First time I had to do that. I watched to not over pressure the transmission case .... might be hard on some seals. That is one thing about the rag. It would probably be hard to seal in that much pressure. Goodluck. After setting it may have some gummed up valves.
