A couple of general comments, if IH would have had HyTran back when they made these tractors they would have used it and designed them to use it. Also, they would have used detergent oil if it was an option back then. As far as what to use in your liftall, if it works good with HyTran, stick with it. If the pump is starting to get a little worn out straight 30wt oil will help it out. If you have had your liftall apart and cleaned out the sludge, use detergent oil so it doesn't sludge up again. Just change the oil once in a while. The yellow spots are probably supposed to be the figure 8. 1950 they would have definitaly had the higher pressure pump. Steven
