Been getting to know the parts guy here in town quite well the past couple of days. Looking at tisco piston/sleeve set for this 230. here's the deal... according to his book, the 230 took flat pistons the sleeve measurements, diameter at seal, bore, length, all match the dimensions given for the flat 230 pistons. the length and diameter of the valves match the dimensions given for the flat pistons. but... my tractor has domed pistons Do I have to do some mix and match here? engine serial no is 43208 there is an overbore for the 113 engine with stepped pistons that looks like would work, but im thinking there has to be something simpler than this that we are just not seeing. a misprint perhaps? i dont want to have him order the wrong things here....would appreciate any help.
