TerryC: In the C series there were a couple FACTORY options. Standard and 5000foot and 8000foot high altitude pistons. Maybe thats what your runnng into. The 5000foot altitude were ordered often even tho the use was not for higher areas. It was a way to increase compression some over the normal low ratio to a higher ratio for a little more power. Maybe this is what your running into. Worth asking? R.
