I understand the "A" and the "AV" are basically the same tractor, with only rear tires larger on the "AV". Same situation with the John Deere "M" and the "MT". I have read previous posts about the speeds being higher in each gear because of the larger tires. My question; which would actually pull better, the small-tired tractors with resulting lower gears or the larger tired tractors with a larger tire footprint. Notice that I have kept the tractors paired according to color so please, no color wars. This is an on-going discussion-I have two brothers; 1 has a "M", the other an "MT".
