wiring problem

Have a IH 140 and the key starter was taped together. When I took the cover off thye wires just fell off the various terminals. This tractor is a 1973 year and has the clutch safety switch and the starter solenoid. The new key switch has three prongs, labelled ST, IGN and BAT. I figure this is ST starter, IGN ignition and BAT battery. I can't figure out the switch from an old operators manual that predates the three prong. How do I connect the fuse? Does this go to the BAT connection? Which wires come from the battery and go to the switch? My local dealer doesn't have this model shop manual. I'm really stuck and any help/ideas are appreciated.
