Cub 184 with a stuck clutch

I am looking for advise on how to unstick the clutch pressure plate that I think has rusted to the flywheel. I have read in the archives some remedies for this, but the machine must be moved with the clutch pedal depressed. Here is the problem...the 154, 185, 184 series had a clutch brake. I don't know exactly what the purpose behind the clutch brake is, but it very effectivly stops the engine if you press the clutch pedal with the engine at high idle and the pressure plate stuck to the flywheel. I need some advise about how to proceed. The 184 isn't like the regular cub in that it has no torque tube. I can get to the clutch from the sides by removing the side panels. Two thoughts come to mind. First, start the engine and just try depressing the clutch in the hopes that the clutch brake can break it free. The second was to grind the teeth off a hacksaw blade and try driving the blade between the flywheel and pressure plate. Any other suggestions?
