Pro: IH
Pro: red
Pro: D407 diesel engine
Pro: POWER
Pro: shifting is better than the 06 series
Con: can't think of any

Does the TA work? If not, can you live without it? They can get expensive to work on. That's the only problem area I know of with IH tractors. We have a 1256 (same engine, turboed) and it is pretty well bullet proof. The shifting will get a little sloppy if you use it for loader work.
