806 gas to diesel

I've just aquired an 806 gas, tin work is good..linkage and all is tight, but the gas motor is stuck up....I thought this tractor was worth a diesel engine....my question is, what engines will bolt up to the 806 trans & rearend...are there any newer diesels....or any in combines that will work?...thats a bunch in advance for any of your help....Joshua
