H distrubutor drive may be broken

I changed out the condensor (because somebody here recommended it, because I was not seeing a draw on the ampmeter. I now have a drop on the ampmeter but after trying to start it it wont fire. I pulled the distrubutor cap off and the rotor is not turning when I crank the engine with the starter. Has this happened to any of you guys, and if it has is it the drive gear that broke on you, the shaft or what. Please advise. thanks in advance.
