I pulled an axle asembly off my H a few years ago. Jack and block the transmission housing and the axle housing. Chock the tire front and rear. Loosen the wheel clamp and the axle shaft will slide through the wheel without having to move it. You will be working with heavy parts, so make sure everything is well supported.
