I would like to inject a little info on the DT361/D361, I am pretty sure the DT version was built first in the late 50s early 60s, actually made for IH-CE, was put in TD15B crawler, It was built in Melrose Park, IL, suburb of Chicago, the part numbers are older for the DT361, when IH came out with 806 in 1963 it had already had a engine that was tested in CE at 100HP or more, then turbo removed and rated 80HP, the parts were in a higher/newer series for the changes needed. As far as the 1206 to 806 in drive train, a few bearings and wider bull gears was the only change in transmission driveline.
