I really think you are right about this. During the 50's, I spent a lot of time on a Farmall M, John Deere B and M-H 44. To me, and I'm not trying to start trouble, I preferred the M or the 44 to the B for all day (sometimes all night) work. Anyway, at the very least, they were equal. Enter the 460/560 and 3010/4010 and suddnely things weren't equal anymore. During the early 60's, I saw lots of farmers, both those who had been "red" and others decide to buy 3010's and 4010's. At that point, JD moved ahead of IHC. Just my $.02 and my favorite trator is still my Super C followed by my Super H.
