My opinion.... The introduction of the 4010 and 3010 John Deere....and the 460 and 560 Diesels.....Hey...now don't everyone get all up in the air...but if you really think about it (at least in my mind) thats what killed IHC. Its a shame to, because IHC was so far ahead of Deere up until that period. I had a 460D and the way it started just made me mad everytime I sat there and held the glow plug button in, I finally sold the darn thing and I was never so happy to see something leave my farm than I was to see that tractor going down the road, with someone else driving it....I've got 3 IHC tractors that I dearly love, so I'm not saying this to bash IHC...its just my opinion...
