My aftremarket (or homemade) three point lift has one cylinder and one hose. It raises faster than I like, and when I lower the bush-hog, it's not a nice slow descent, it's a fast drop to the ground. I figure I could put another cylinder on the other side with a tee in my hydraulic hose, and this would decrease the lift speed by half and double the lift power. Does this sound right? I also thought about just putting a small orifice in the line that should slow the raise and lower. My last question is about two other pipe fittings coming up out of the hydraulic pump area. They are plugged. I was wondering if these might be auxillary hydraulic sources. Any thoughts would be appreciated.
