Hello all. I live in north central arkansas (ozarks) and just bought myself a Farmall 1466 tonight for $3,000 It's a strong tractor, no leaks, doesnt seem to be an oil hog, has a grader blade and two post rops on it. It's not a show tractor by any means, and it is really quite a bit bigger than what I was looking for (I was originally searching for 50-70 hp) but I think I will be pretty happy with it. OK, heres the question - does that seem like a valid price for one of these? Had a couple of folks tell me I could have gotten away with about 500 less, but heck a Ford 4000 sells for 5000 around here, as long as it runs.
