ken keep hearing of the trans in 560,s just like the M and wont hold up? i have a 1939 M that i use on the pulling cercuit and the tractor pulls on the average of 50 times a month , and have been doing that for about 15 year,s, and we load the tractor up to the 10,000 pound class, and all i have lost is the right bull gear bearing, now has a patch on the bottom, we also run the motor at 4,500 RPM,s, tractor started life in texas with 4 brother,s on a 2000 acer farm was sold after war to custom cutter,s and went north to minn and was put on the road gang for 15 year,s, and then sold to a scrape yard in ohio were i got it 20 year,s ago. no trans or rear end troublr so far this summer it,s resting, tractor also goes to the winter nat,s in columbos every winter and to tupelo miss. only makes about 75 hp with a 4 in bore no stroker but about 13.1 compression with the late style 8060 head, i just dont think the rear was bad on the 560 they may have had pitch or depth set wrong from factory?just came back from vacation in n.dakota and seen 32 axel flow,s in a row working there way north. a giant junk yard in wing n.dakota not many m,s but a ton of 560,s and 660,s lot,s of tin, around 200 combines all kind,s but only 2 axel flow,s and a lot of 914 combines , thank,s for hearing me j.w.braun
