As for the loader, yes there are loaders that come with their own hydralic reservoirs. As for putting on a distributor pump and running it from that - this would probably not be a good idea. First, you will either need to find an M&W pump or an IH live pump, timing cover, and timing gears from a Super M thru 450. Even with these changes, that pump was not designed to run a loader although people have done it. For loaders I will not use anything but a PTO driven pump. Power steering I think was a factory option on the Super M thru 450. There was a Behlen unit and a Char-Lynn unit also. I belive both of these came with a pump that was mounted to the side off of the governor. These setups will fit right on an M. You will have to cut the steering shaft to put the torque motor on. One of them went under the hood and the other went in front of the steering pedestal above the fuel tank. Hope this helps. Steven
