The pump infront of the distributor was indeed ment to run loader and all other hydraulics, timing gears will last maney years running pump just keep reliefe valve at or less than 1200PSI don't know where that idea came from, but put maney M&W pumps on H & M why change front timing cover if one can still get M & W pump they were good pumps and worked well om H & M.
