My 1066 won't steer when the engine is at low rpm's. It had been acting up for the better part of the last year. I took it to an IH mechanic that said the piroity valve in the multiple control valve was sticking and he rebuilt the MCV with a kit, it worked fine when I got it back and for about 3 months. now it is sticking again, to correct it you have to remove a plug on the side of the MCV and pull the plunger out dress it iup a little and put it back in. Then it works OK for a while and sticks again, Has anyone else had a similar kind of problem with these tractors and possibly a solution with out replacing the whole MCV. I am sure it would be similar on all the tractors that have the Multiple Control Valve.
