Randal, take the MC valve off and ream out the hole that the valve is sticking in. Take a 1/4 inch bolt about 5 inches long and cut the head off. Then with a hacksaw cut a 1 inch deep slice in the end of the bolt. Use a roll of heavy grit emery cloth. You put the emery cloth inthe slit and wrap it around the bolt just big enough to go in the hole that you are reaming out.Use a die grinder or a drill to turn it. Have done it many times and works like a charm.. If you put the spool in a drill press and use emery cloth it cleans that up real well also. Good Luck.
