We had an M w/narrow front, and it was loose, besides wobbling going down the road, in the field it was worse. Wasn't a problem steering, but when that front wheels found a hole or whatever, they would turn and that play seemed to cause it to whip right around. Used to beat me up bush hogging some rough ground. I'd say if you can spare the $$ to definitly go ahead and fix it, as you said you are going to do. Might as well, got it where you can get to it easy and doing the rest of the tractor anyhow. Good luck, by the way, what do they call that tread on that right rear tire on that tractor inthe pic(the right side when you're in the seat). Just curious, had seen them on different stuff from time to time and was just wondering if they had a speciific name.
