Help on B Farmall engine

Have a B Farmall w/magneto. It set for a few weeks and when we got it started, there was a clattering sound near the front of the engine (wasn't there the last time it ran). When I put my hand on the magneto housing toward the front of the tractor, I could "feel" the sound. I shut the tractor off checked things over somewhat and then tried to crank it to start it.

It turned over one turn of the crank and than a half turn and the engine is stuck solid. No movement at all, pulling it or anything. Tried rocking it back and forth in gear and nothing doing.

What the heck happened?
