Steven: As you know I am very very bias when it comes to my 656D. My neighbour had a 666 with the 310 German diesel. That machine was all over my 656 including not having to use glow plugs. I however, allready had a tractor that was all over my 656, two of them 560D and 1066. Perhaps the reason I liked the 656 so well is that in my operation it did all those jobs I did myself. At 63 hp it had ample hp to do what I wanted it to do. I will admit that other than 300 acres plowing each year, the rest was a breeze for it, spraying, drilling, corn planting, mower conditioner, etc. It would however pass his 666 at the fuel storage depot. I will agree 310 was imptovement 282, especially in 706. Hugh
