Provided that its not your pump problem, I would go looking at the relief valve we talked about before. Its job is to relieve the excess pressure and that pressure is whats killing your engine. Even if it were your fitting, vavles, cylinder, etc. the relief valve would let it flow and not stall. Tear it apart again and clean it up good and try it again, it seems to take a few times to get it right. A good way to check on your relief is when you turn the tractor off of how fast the engine comes to a stop. My engine would pull down but I never stalled it with the pump.
