I know TV, when our 1256 got bad we took it to town and had some little roller thing replaced in the tranny and new links put on the shifter and it worked great for another year. I don't know anything about the shifting kit advertised, but I do know that even our 1086 is a PITA to shift twice a day to do field work. Steven
