Amen to that, keep your clutch and dump valve adjusted. Add to that send any vette speed shifters packing. IH used a straight cog transmission in those days because they were tough. The engines used in Farmalls had enough torque you only had to put it in neutral once every four hours to have a break. And don't talk to me about front end loaders, FARMALLS WERE MADE TO PULL. These shift happy cowboys and there demands ruined the most efficient draft tractor in the world.
