Hone the hole and like steve said and fix it . what happed is that some time it got real hot on 6 because it either leaned out or your total advance timing is not wright or you got a dose of diesel fuel in the gas . 706 gasers requier 93 octain min. fuel and i have said this before 87& 89 octain gas burns hotter and faster then 93 and if the distator is in need of repair and you lug the engine it gets real hot real fast and does not show up on the temp. gauge. and the end results are what you have. BEEN THERE DONE THAT .
