The rear tread on the B can be adjusted quite a bit, so 7 feet is easily accomplished. Think there are 16 possible positions adjusted 4 inches at a time. The left hand axle housing is the same as the right hand axle housing, so it will have seat mounting holes. Mine has a toolbox mounted to the outer holes. The dome on the manifold (exhaust part of the manifold) is for a pneumatic lift which works by diverting exhaust gases into a pneumatic cylinder. Since it is in the exhaust system, corrosion is a big problem, and I have seen a lot more of them not working that working.
