Ok, first of all, the M. Problems: 1) There is a small oil leak coming from the front steering gearbox-nothing big, but would it be the seal? 2) Whenever I shut it off, gas runs out of the "overflow drain" at the bottom of the carb, and ruins the drivway. 3) The tractor doesn't seem to charge. I have to jump it with the truck, and thats no good because the M is 6 volt. It used to crank slow, then as soon as you let the button goand try again, it cranks fast enough to start it. No it cranks fast ONCE,if at all, and then it is dead. Just wondering if I should rewire it all correctly, if something is shorted, or wired wrong. Last weekend it just died on me at the gas station while filling the tires. It of course, was dead. I was using the lights, but the tractor shouldn't quit if the battery is dead and it is RUNNING, am I right? Now for the Farmall C: 1)Same charging problem as M-and it died too. But I was told when bought it in 1998 that it was 12V, but it still has a Generator on it. Another Rewire? Also: I do have a wiring diagram for the M, just have been debating on whether to re-do it or not.
